The course runs along the Badger State Trail continuing onto the Jane Addams Trail. The course is 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt.
The Badger 100 Mile is a qualifying race for the 2028 Western States 100. Runners who complete the race within 30 hours will qualify to enter a lottery where the runners for Western States will be selected.
The Badger 100 Mile is also an official Badwater 135 Qualifying Race.

100 mile course starts in Orangeville, IL and ends in Belleville, WI.
The out, back, and out again course starts at 6:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2027 in Orangeville, IL. The race finishes in Belleville, WI. Cutoff time is 6:00 PM on Sunday, Aug 1- 36 Hours!!
100 Mile racers will receive shirt, belt and goodie bag. Finishers will receive a custom, designer belt buckle your friends will drool over.
100K course begins in Belleville, WI on Saturday, July 31, 2027 at 9:00 AM.
The 100K course is and out and back to Belleville, WI. Twice through the tunnel. Cutoff time is 6:00 PM on Sunday, Aug 1, 2027 - 33 Hours!!
100K racers will receive a shirt and goodie bag, and finishers will receive a Badger 100K Finisher’s Medal.
